Laide to Glasgow

Hi,  We are going to Scotland for two weeks.  So far we are staying two nights in the following:  Edinburgh, Fort William, Skye, Strathcarron, and then three nights in Laide.  We love outdoors and scenery and maybe a Castle or two.  Don't mind cities if they are really captivating ...  We have two nights left to stay somewhere on our way back down to Glasgow and are having trouble figuring out where to go.  Is Inverness worth seeing or is it a not bother?  Any route suggestions or must-see things?   Any suggestions or route and/or places to go would be helpful.

Hiya, depending on budget and preferences Inverness has a lot to offer. However it looks like you want the rugged west coast... The Torridon hotel is simply stunning.. not really 'on the way' to Glasgow...compared to your total journey from Laide. You don't say how you're travelling but Oban could be an option.

If you want to do walking and stuff like that though - stay in the heart of GlenCoe at the Kings House hotel - the main building is closed just now but that's almost irrelevant...http://www.kingshousehotel.co.uk/

I took this picture there last week!
