How can I find out when and where folk sings and pub sings take place?
My husband and I will be visiting Scotland (mostly ranging from Skye to Aberdeen to Orkney and Shetland) from mid July into early August this year. We'd be interested in attending folk sings or pub sings as we travel. How can we find out about regularly scheduled sings? Thanks!

Some sessions (what we call sings) are organised regularly and advertised on Facebook, Aberdeen has several sessions a week. This is one; https://www.facebook.com/groups/oldblackfriarssessionaberdeen/?ref=ts&fref=ts
I'm sure if you were to ask on there someone would be able to point you in the right direction.
Whisky, Castles and Food a speciality.
