Edinburgh is a City rich in history and heritage.  We are lucky enough to be home to two of six sites in Scotland which have been awarded world heritage site status, the Old and New Town areas of the City, with their varied and fascinating architecture, and the iconic Forth Rail Bridge spanning the river Forth linking Edinburgh with Fife

    My grandfather used to be a council painter in Fife in the 30s, but then he got a job painting the Forth Bridge. And the saying is true, it was a never ending job, "like painting the Forth Bridge" :)
