Snow tunnels and other amazing snow experiences in Scotland
Perhaps it's a little off-season to be thinking about snow in Scotland, but I discovered incredible photos of snow tunnels on Ben Nevis and Feith Buidhe, recently captured by
Iain Cameron and
John Stoddard - how stunning are they?!

John StoddardHas anyone ever experienced them, or a similar snow phenomenon in Scotland?
It also reminded me that I'm yet to try ice wall climbing at
Ice Factor at Kinlochleven, something I've been meaning to have a go at for quite a few years! Has anyone else been, or tried ice climbing on Scotland's mountains?

Scotland looks so pretty in snow. We spend several weekends last winter chasing it. One of the best was spend in the Trossachs with a hike up snowy Beinn an t-Sidhein by Strathyre. It looked magical.
Next day we headed to Loch Katrine and I can safely say it was one of the most stunning scenes I have ever seen in my life. Like a fairytale. I was almost afraid to return for fear of shattering the illusion of that day. I have though and it didn't.
