Things to do in bad weather in the Highlands
We're visiting Kyle of Lochalsh/Skye in September for the third time this year - we've been blessed with great weather on previous trips but wonder if our luck will hold.
So has anyone got any suggestions for things to do if it's wet and windy in the area around Lochalsh and Skye ?

You could also visit the Skye Museum of Island Life and find out how the locals would have sheltered from the elements in their sturdy cottages.
If you fancy a wee whisky to warm you up, there is the Talisker Distillery tasting tour.
Also Eilean Donan Castle at Kyle of Lochalsh is great. It will be open 10-6 and there is a visitor centre and cafe to while away the time while the weather rages outside.
