We will be in Kyle of Lochalsh for a wedding next week and then driving to Glasgow. We have 2 days and 2 nights to explore. What should we see and which hotels to stay in? Appreciate your help. Thank you.

Back to Kyle and after visiting their shops and maybe having fish and chips, a few miles away is a lovely woodland/garden walk at Balmacara which is a short drive. I have a real soft spot for Dornie which isn't far and has the gorgeous Eilean Donan castle. There are so many beautiful walks and view points in the area, you will have a fabulous time whatever you decide to do - whether it's sightseeing in the car or going out for walks. We used this guide when we were there

We have only stayed in self catering places in Dornie and on Skye (we haven't stayed in the Kyle) so I don't know much about the hotels, but can recommend both pubs that are in Dornie if you do go there for great food!
