Intend visiting Scotland in August for about 9-10 days, Any suggestions where to go to from Edinburg

We intend visiting Scotland once again in August for 9 or 10 days, We plan to end our holiday with a 3 or 4 night stay in Edinburgh or maybe a night in Stirling and 2 nights in Edinburgh.  Any Suggestions where to go to from Edinburgh by car?  Last time we were there we drove to Glasgow, Fort William, Isle of Skye, Inverness and back to Edinburgh.  This time we'd like to visit a few more places, but preferably closer to Edinburgh. 

Would greatly appreciate your help and maybe any B&Bs where we can stay.

    Hi @Cassj154, Try Pitlochry for a couple of nights. There are far too many things to do & see or visit. The surrounding landscape is beautiful and there are lots of hidden secrets, for example, did you know that Outlander is filmed close by? There is an amazing amount of history to be found and the lochs & glens are stunning. Walking, cycling, water sports, fishing, golfing. The list goes on with castles & distilleries etc.
    Try it, you won't be disappointed.
