Child Friendly Festivals Happening Over the School Holidays

Just last week while wandering through Ancaster Square in Callander I came across these knitted bollard covers. This is part of the run up to Summerfest where local crafters and artists showcase their talents and decorate the town centre square in preparation for 'Ancaster Square - Art Day'.
A knitted minion!
Fairy tales old and new were brought to life by the Border Youth Theatre. Children attending the festival dressed as their favourite fairytale characters and enjoyed story-telling and puppet shows amongst other activities on the festival programme. A novel idea for a festival!
