Leanachan forest is popular for walking, running and gentle cycling, with miles of trails under the northern slopes of Ben Nevis.
There’s marvellous mountain biking here too: Leanachan is home to some world famous mountain bike events, but you don’t have to be a pro to enjoy the Witch's Trails.
Leanachan is an active working forest, producing large quantities of timber every year. We’ll post updates on the website about any work that affects the trails and you’ll find signs on site with details.

A generally firm, wide path. Narrow for short sections and small areas can be muddy after rain. Fairly steep long slopes, with some shorter steeper sections.

This family-friendly trail follows burns and leads you through a meadow filled with wild flowers in spring and summer, with views of the Aonoch Mor and Ben Nevis.

Leanachan shares a car park with Nevis Range ski centre. The ski centre is well signposted from the A82 between Fort William and Spean Bridge.
