SQA Advanced Qualification support

We have changed the name of our SQA Higher National Qualifications (HNs).

The SQA Higher National Diploma (HND) will be known as the SQA Advanced Diploma, and the SQA Higher National Certificate (HNC) will be known as the SQA Advanced Certificate.

Important dates 

31 December 2018

The last date you can submit any new HN group award or unit entries.

1 January 2019

• Start entering candidates for SQA Advanced Certificate or SQA Advanced Diploma. 
• Stop using HN in all promotional materials -  including website copy/URLs, printed materials, banner stands, social media and video content.

31 December 2021

Until this date, you can continue to submit results for HN group awards or units. Graduation photos and teaching materials can continue to include references to HNs until this date.
