Purpose of the group
Help improve Scotland’s poor record on respiratory health and promote a more strategic approach to addressing long-term improvements.
Increase political awareness about the scale of respiratory illness, the cost to the NHS, its links with wider health inequalities, prevention opportunities, and the cross-cutting connections with other parts of the public health agenda.
