About the Scottish Centre for Telehealth and Telecare

Scotland has a strong foundation on which to progress technology enabled  care. This is supported by SCTT as a national resource, who perform the following key functions on behalf of Scotland and NHS 24:

• leading the design and development of new services;
• providing consultancy and facilitation services for partner organisations;
• supporting knowledge transfer and shared learning;
• engaging internationally to secure additional funding and build expertise for the benefit of Scotland.

Over 2017/18, working in partnership with others, SCTT has:

• enabled 7,500 new citizens to benefit from Home and Mobile Health Monitoring;
• supported the Scale up BP programme to deliver the largest scale up of blood pressure monitoring to date;
• continued the rollout of the Attend Anywhere video consulting system, with 67 active clinics delivering 1,200 consultations to date;
• supported 32,000 new citizens to use Telecare, 13,000 in the last year;
• progressed the Analogue to Digital Telecare programme, with the new service due to launch in Summer 2018;
• rolled out cCBT to cover 99% of the population with 26,000 referrals to date;
• completed the eConsult project;
• launched the mPower project;
• continued to enhance Scotland’s reputation internationally;
• supported around 4,000 people to learn and transfer knowledge with others via our learning events.
