Latest Covid-19/Coronavirus UpdateSafeguarding the Cairngorms National Park for Future Generations
One question at the forefront of a lot of people’s minds in the current situation: Is it still safe to get outside? The simple answer is – yes - but not necessarily as you are used to. The advice is to follow government guidelines and stay LOCAL to your home when you recreate and do not travel unnecessarily at this time.
The Cairngorms are ideally placed to capitalize on the country’s requirement for nature-based solutions such as peatland restoration and woodland creation working on a landscape scale. Currently, there is a huge amount of conservation work taking place right across the National Park.
