That the Parliament celebrates the work of the staff at David Walker Gardens in Rutherglen, which is a care home operated by South Lanarkshire Council that is named after the late Strathclyde regional councillor, its use of music and dance to boost the spirits of residents and ease the difficulty of separation from loved ones during the COVID-19 outbreak; recognises this as an innovative and uplifting daily event at the home, which is known as "Rock around the Pool"; commends all of the workers for their kindness and dedication in bringing it about, and hopes that other care homes across Scotland will follow this excellent example

That the Parliament congratulates Shawlands Academy in Glasgow, which has achieved the Gold Level LGBT Charter Mark; recognises the hard work and dedication of the pupils and staff in gaining this prestigious award from LGBT Youth Scotland; understands that the school undertook partnership work with sports clubs in the community to build an inclusive sports environment for young LGBT people to support them moving up into clubs outside of school and that LGBT author events and workshops took place that helped pupils celebrate LGBT identities, and welcomes the training and review of policies, practice and resources to help ensure that the Academy goes beyond meeting legislative needs and is as inclusive as it can be for pupils, staff, parents and the wider community.

That the Parliament congratulates the Cambuslang-based Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) on 10 years of partnership with Anthony Nolan; notes that the partnership was established after one of its firefighters, Ally Boyle, was diagnosed with blood cancer, and that since then a total of approximately 14,500 new potential stem cell donors have been registered; notes the focus of the partnership on encouraging young people and schoolchildren to register as donors, and welcomes the future work of the project in helping to increase the number of stem cell donors in Scotland.

That the Parliament congratulates West Whitlawburn Housing Co-operative on 30 years of providing and maintaining housing in the local area of Cambuslang at affordable rents; commends the focus of the housing co-op on promoting a sense of community and encouraging sustainability; notes the findings in a Scottish Housing Regulator's report, which scored the co-op as "above average" in 10 out of 13 categories; acknowledges that the report also found that the 98.9% of the homes let by the social landlord met the Scottish Housing Quality Standard, and wishes the co-op well in continuing this success into the next 30 years.
