That the Parliament welcomes the money received by Plantlife Scotland from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, which will enable it to work with local communities to carry out vital conservation work in the Cairngorms to save the twinflower plant and other rare species; recognises that this project will be supported by the Cairngorms National Park and Scottish Natural Heritage; welcomes Plantlife Scotland’s commitment to work with local communities and landowners to deliver this work, and recognises that this will contribute to restoring some of Scotland’s most threatened biodiversity.

That the Parliament congratulates Gary Calder, who is from Dundee, on completing a four-hour cycle challenge in Tesco Riverside to raise money for Muscular Dystrophy UK; understands that Gary decided to undertake this challenge following several of his relatives being diagnosed with myotonic dystrohpy; notes that he raised £377.64 as a result; understands that Gary will also compete in the Miami Marathon in February 2020 to raise more money for the charity, and wishes him success with this.
