It is SPCB policy to encourage the involvement of the private and voluntary sectors in the sponsorship of its activities wherever appropriate. However sponsorship:
- Must be of specific events not of people;
- Should not imply endorsement by the SPCB of a product or company;
- Should not place the SPCB under any obligation to the sponsor that goes beyond any agreement relating to the sponsored activity;
- Should be used to add to (not replace) core funding making it possible to extend SPCB activities.
