Older person's bus passes during coronavirus

Transport Scotland restarted production of bus passes on 1 June 2020. This will be limited service.

If you've already asked for a renewal or replacement

If you applied before 27 March you should get your card by the middle of June.

Renewals and replacement bus passes

You can now apply to renew or replace lost, stolen or broken cards.

You can only apply through your local council right now. You should also contact your local council about any questions about your existing card.

New bus passes

You cannot apply for a new bus pass at this time.

Using your bus pass during coronavirus

Transport Scotland is working with bus companies so you can still make essential travel. Up to 30 June 2020, the driver should still allow you to travel if you've:

• not been able to get a replacement for a lost, stolen or broken bus pass because of coronavirus
• not been able to renew a bus pass because of coronavirus
• a valid card which does not register on the ticket machine

Explain your situation to the bus driver.
