The SSSC was asked by Scottish Government to work with NES and the sector to
increase the capacity of the social care workforce during the COVID-19 pandemic.
This involves contacting previously registered social care workers and signposting
them to an online hub hosted by NES where they can indicate their interest to
return to the sector.
