Helpline
The national COVID-19 helpline - 0800 111 4000 - puts people in contact with their local authority. This is so that they can provide support for those who don’t have a network of support. This is in addition to the national support available for people who are shielding.

If you need support with shielding, please use this page to find the telephone number for your local authority’s helpline.
They will be able to arrange for food and medicine deliveries if you need them. They can also signpost you to other local services.
