Administration Assistant – Part-Time

Caledonian Maritime Assets Ltd own the ferries, ports, harbours and infrastructure necessary for vital ferry services serving the West coast of Scotland, the Clyde Estuary and the Northern Isles. We aim to provide efficient, cost effective and safe ferries, harbours and port infrastructure for operators, communities, and users in and around Scotland.
Working in conjunction with the office coordinator and office administrator you will monitor incoming telephone calls, act as a first point of contact for meetings and greeting clients, monitor the enquiries inbox, log and submit director expenses (personal and company credit card).
Requirements of the Administration Assistant
• Excellent organisational and administrative qualities.
• Proven Administrator skills (formal qualifications)
• Innovative and Flexible
• Ability to work with limited supervision
• Good all- round IT Skill and proficient in MS Office products including Word, Outlook and Excel MS office software and general IT competence
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy team environment
• Customer focused attitude whilst presenting a positive first image of CMAL to all third parties
• A high degree of confidentiality is essential
This is a part-time position, therefore will be a pro-rata salary (25 hours per week – office hours will predominately be 09.15 – 15.00 Mon to Friday, this includes an unpaid lunch break of 45 minutes).
