    Penalties for livestock worrying: views sought

    The Rural Economy and Connectivity Committee has issued a call for views on the Dogs (Protection of Livestock) (Amendment) (Scotland) Bill, which aims to strengthen and update the law in relation to so-called “livestock worrying”. The committee is considering calls for tougher penalties and wants to know what your views are.

    On Friday at 10am the Local Government and Communities Committee meets virtually to scrutinise how Third Sector organisations in Scotland have been affected by the pandemic and what additional support the Scottish Government is providing. The Committee is keen to hear more about funding and in particular the Scottish Government's Third Sector Resilience Fund.
