Do you agree the national curriculum should be changed to include Afro-Scottish history?

What should be included in the national curriculum to ensure a full account of Afro-Scottish history is taught?

Scotland has centuries of deep historical links with the Caribbean and Africa, which are just coming to the fore. Teachers across Scotland are very interested in learning about Scotland's Black History, and are keen to have teaching resources and training, both at Primary and Secondary level. It's important for children of all backgrounds to have greater context in order to become global citizens with a modern, international outlook and a deeper understanding of their own transnational history.

It is very important that every nation teaches pupils there history whether they are Black or Scottish. It is more important to teach black history to every pupil as it is the others who need to learn.

This is such an important part of our history? How o earth can it be ignored in our curriculum? All that does is perpetuate the racism that is everpresent in our youth.
