However in the early 1980s the agricultural markets were proving more volatile and the company moved into new markets for fabrication.
This led the company into the industrial gas supply industry and by the early 1990s they became the leading supplier in the UK. Now the company manufacture and supply equipment all around the world, including the EU, USA, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore, and Angola. In addition they have recently set up a joint venture business in China.
They currently employ 140 staff at their premises in Forfar.
