A guide for social service workers

We’ve completed phase one of the project to develop recommendations for the design, implementation and delivery of a sustainable and accessible national approach to newly qualified social workers (NQSWs) first year in practice on behalf of the Scottish Government.

Our new guide, Working safely during COVID-19, offers social service workers information and advice about changes to the way we work as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. 

As testing for workers is rolled out across social services the Care Inspectorate and the SSSC want to emphasise its importance to your own wellbeing, your colleagues and to people experiencing care.
