Highlight social care at this year’s NHS event

Are you involved, or have you been involved, in a social care project that’s made a real difference to people’s lives, outcomes, or system changes?

The NHS Scotland 2020 event takes place at the SEC in Glasgow on 24 and 25 June and they are looking for social service organisations to deliver poster presentations.

The first step is completing the abstract form under ‘External Organisations’, a straightforward process.

Find out more about the event and how to submit a poster here.

The closing date for submissions is Monday 3 February.

The theme of NHS Scotland 2020 is ‘Building on success and reforming for the future’ and there are seven poster categories, with a focus on driving reform and sustainable change.

This year’s event will see the most prominent representation yet for social care.  The Reform of Adult Social Care Programme – a partnership between people who use support, Scottish Government, COSLA, SSSC, Care Inspectorate and others – is aiming to take part in the plenary sessions, and has called on social care practitioners to demonstrate the impact of positive change in the sector.
