COVID-19 - Update on SASA services
The Scottish Government has started to slowly lift lockdown measures, as set out in the document: Coronavirus (COVID-19): framework for decision making - Scotland's route map through and out of the crisis.
SASA has continued to serve Scottish agriculture throughout the lockdown period, by carrying on with many of our services either through working from home, or where this was simply not possible, attending the site to carry out essential work in our laboratories, glasshouses and on our farm.
However, unfortunately we have had to pause a number of areas of our work where we could not carry out work from home, and where travelling to SASA would not have been in line with Scottish Government rules on Stay Home Stay Safe.
As the framework document now provides some potential timelines for restarting business, SASA are continuing to prepare for an expansion in the services we will be able to provide. Our return to work plans are rightly cautious with the safety and welfare of our staff our overriding priority.
Your usual contacts at SASA should be available by email or alternatively contact us on info@sasa.gov.scot for information about services currently available at SASA and about our plans for restarting work.
