Early access to mental health care needed

The Public Petitions Committee has launched a report calling for better and earlier access to mental health services for young people. The committee found that, while improvements have been made, gaps remain for people feeling low or anxious, to ensure that they receive help before their conditions deteriorate.

In order to prioritise supporting parliamentary business and playing our part in the response to the coronavirus, we have taken this decision to try to reduce the risk to those who work at the parliament and those who have to visit.
