This report has been undertaken by the Scottish Social Services Council as part of the Sector
Skills Agreement process being carried out by Skills for Care and Development (SfC&D). It
sets out the position in Scotland in relation to the assessment of current provision to meet the
current and future skills needs of the social services workforce. The assessment of those
needs is addressed in the Stage One report.
