19-21 October 2017
In 2017 the Festival of Politics entered its teenage years, which we embraced with a theme of rebellion and revolution. Highlights from 2017’s three-day programme included a series of events exploring topics from music and women’s equality to fake news and investigative journalism. Alongside talks and debates, live music was provided by Glasgow based singer-songwriter Martha Ffion and 20-strong Dundonian ukulele band Dee Ukes. Our Festival Cafe Bar featured two exhibitions; the Scottish Press Photography Awards and Teenage Instamatics Punk Rock in Edinburgh 1977.
