Skills Development Scotland have launched their new resource My World of Work for Parents. The website helps parents guide their children's career path from as early as 13 years of age, and supports parents in finding out what subjects would best suit their child. Parents can then help develop their child's skills and give the right advice on his/her education and career path. My World of Work for Parents was developed in response to research that revealed Parents find it difficult to provide their children with career and learning advice, and are unaware of the resources available to them. The site offers parents everything they need to know from key dates for applications for modern apprenticeships to university open days.
