Student nurses, midwives and student paramedics are all obliged to complete a 3-year degree, with equal hours of completed placements.

Do you agree that it is unfair that, despite these similarities, student nurses and midwives receive a bursary (of £10,000 from 2020/21) but student paramedics do not?

How do you expect these students to pay bills and survive without a wage. They are working on a career which is needed to save peoples lives.

Totally unfair

I believe it is unfair that they are going to be working within a similar guideline but not getting the same benefits

A family member is giving up their job to start training and studying. They will have to work as well to support themselves. I honestly can't see the difference between this and nurses please help our young people who are willingly to dedicate their lives to helping others

This is highly unfair that one group gets funding but others don't.

I will be one of the qualifying students. I would be grateful if our payments were in line with student nurses. Our course is the same length of time and almost mirrors learning time and placements.
