St Andrew’s Day

1 December 2017

The First Minister hosted a reception at Edinburgh Castle to thank all of the organisations, volunteers and local communities who have worked together to boost the celebration of St Andrew’s Day.

The First Minister Nicola Sturgeon said:

This reception is our way of saying thank you – for promoting Scotland, and for making life a little brighter for people here and around the world.

Many organisations and individuals performed an act of kindness on St Andrew’s Day:

Could you #BeLikeStAndrew this week?
I just bought some extra bits with my shop and popped them in the Food Bank collection.
