International development

27 September 2018

Humanitarian relief, climate justice and gender equality initiatives were some of the issues raised by the First Minister Nicola Sturgeon at Scotland’s International Development Alliance’s annual conference.

She outlined the Scottish Government’s commitment to international development and said:

For our part, promoting international development is an absolutely essential part of being a good global citizen.
