Scottish Canals' Response to Flooding at Broxburn
Our teams attended the site on the evening of the 27th August, and joined a multi- agency response and were able to confirm that the canal network was being managed and remained safe throughout the incident.
The Union Canal is closed following a significant breach between Polmont and Muiravonside, caused by heavy rainfall overnight.
