2.2.11.4 Manufacturer / License and Batch Number: Section 2.2.11.4 has been added to include Manufacturer Import License Number and Batch Number endorsement.

2.2.11.3 Products Not included in Part 7S or 7U: Section 2.2.11.3 has been updated to include reference to Circular PCA(P)(2015)17 which describes new arrangements for the dispensing of specials and imported unlicensed medicines effective from 1st September 2015.
Appendix 6 - Reimbursement for Specials: An Appendix 6 has been added to give more detail relating to the specials process.

2.2.4 Item Not Collected: Section 2.2.4 has been amended to remove the necessity of scoring out barcodes due to the implementation of flexible claiming, which now allows the re-submission/editing of electronic claims any time prior to the paper being submitted to PSD for payment.

2.1.5 Brand/Manufacturer (on paper forms only): Section 2.1.5 has 2 new companies added to generic manufacturers list
3.2 Limited Life Products / Instalment Dispensing: A new section 3.2 - Limited Life endorsement has been added using instalment dispensing endorsement N.B We now use the electronic information, where available, as our primary source of data within the payment process including the manual processing of prescription items.
2.2.15 Urgent Dispensing: A new section 2.2.15 - Urgent dispensing endorsement added
2.2.10 Other: Section 2.2.10 'Other’ endorsement now included for AMS
2.2.8 Prescriber Contacted (PC)/Patient Medication Record (PMR): Section 2.2.8 highlights the use of PC/PMR endorsements

2.2.11 Specials & Unlicensed Products: Section 2.2.11 has been updated to include dispensing of proprietary item for product in short supply.

2.2.11.3 Products Not included in Part 7S or 7U: Section 2.2.9.3 (2.2.11.3) and 2.2.9.4 have been updated to clarify Part 7U requirements.
Appendix 4 - Different Pack Types - Pricing Rules: Appendix 4 has been updated to reflect PSD's Whole pack/Special Containers pricing rules.

2.2.4 Item Not Collected: Section 2.2.4 has been updated to reflect the process of destroying a barcode, which should only be done under exceptional circumstances.
2.2.9 Order Number: Section 2.2.9 has been updated to reflect the introduction of Drug Tariff Specials Part 7S.
2.2.10 Other: Section 2.2.10 has been updated to highlight that 'Out of Pocket' expense claims should be the NHS Net price excluding VAT.
2.2.11 Specials & Unlicensed Products: Section 2.2.11 has been updated to reflect how PSD will now handle short supply items.
5. Medicines: Care & Review (MCR): Section 5 has been updated to reflect the process of when to submit supporting documentation, e.g. invoice for a CMS claim.

Appendix 4 - Different Pack Types - Pricing Rules: Appendix 4 (section 4 - Whole Packs) - example updated.
