The total cost of promoting the website on Google is £3,462.33 (costs up until 31 October 2015).

* This does not include the cost of Scottish Government staff time because staff are not required to record what proportion of their time is spent on the Scottish Government’s web presence, including the Office of First Minister website. This work is regarded as part of a civil servant’s normal duties and there is no business reason to record this separately.
