For Nicola’s first official engagement as First Minister, she invited carers into Bute House to hear their views on issues impacting on their lives.

We owe an enormous debt to the unpaid carers across Scotland, who play a vital role in our society. The First Minister told them that she will support them in every way we can and – and always will.
