Alternatively, NHS Inform (external link) deals with illnesses, tests, treatments, operations, and answers to commonly asked health questions. NHS 24 (external link) provides self-help information. Citizen's Advice Scotland deliver PASS - Patient Advice & Support Service.

NSS feedback, comments, concerns and complaints
For NSS enquiries, please fill in our form. Update: due to the coronavirus outbreak, many of our staff are working remotely so we cannot guarantee that mail posted to us will be picked up. Instead, please use the form for your enquiries.

Data protection
NSS does not hold patient health records. However, like all NHSScotland bodies, we gather and use personal information to provide more effective health services.
Our Data Protection Notice explains what personal information we use, what our legal basis is for using it and how we protect it. It also explains what your rights are under data protection law and how you can ask to see your information.
Freedom of Information
You have the right to request information from any publicly-funded body, including NSS.
FOI requests are not about your personal information, for example your medical records. See above for data protection information regarding that information.
