Do you agree dedicated autism support would save hundreds of millions of pounds?

Could there be an audit of escapable costs within mental health to identify funding for autism support teams?

How much is needed to fund autism support teams?

Dedicated support is essential for people who live with Autism and for their families.

In our experience Autistic people have to be in crisis before support is provided. Also, diagnosis with CAMHS takes years.

Autism needs to be addressed at a young age there should be a national autism test for the young to stop people falling through the cracks in older age.

There is little to no support for anyone diagnosed with ASD as an adult, especially if they also don't have an additional learning disability or mental health issue. It's very much a case of "yes you have autism, now off you pop"

This is badly needed. There is absolutely no support for these young people after they leave school. This leads to isolation & loneliness for them, more so since Covid 19.
