Free exhibition - Wednesday 30 April to Friday 30 May
The Ryder Cup Heritage Exhibition, will showcase the history of one of the world’s truly iconic sporting events.
From its humble beginnings as a friendly match between British and American PGA (Professional Golfers’ Association) professionals, through to the impact made by Samuel Ryder, who donated the famous gold trophy, the exhibition highlights a series of fascinating items and memorabilia associated with the history of the match and its players. Together the artefacts tell the story of how the match grew into one of the biggest sporting events in the world.

Currently on loan to the Scottish Parliament to mark
Scotland’s hosting of The 2014 Ryder Cup, the official painting for the
tournament shows the scenic 2nd hole on the PGA Centenary Course at
Gleneagles and can be viewed here.
