The Brave@Heart Awards celebrate acts of bravery by blue-light services and voluntary rescue organisations, and members of the public nominated by these bodies.

The 2015 ceremony was hosted by the First Minister in Edinburgh Castle, and honoured 45 winners for their outstanding acts of courage.
