A dynamic team of youngsters, and a famous academic, popped in to see the First Minister in January.
The four winners of the Scottish Government funded Higgs Prize for Physics, named after the Scottish-based Nobel Physics Prize winner Professor Peter Higgs, were congratulated on their success after gaining top physics grades in their school exams.
The winners – Raheem Beg, Julie Lynch, Eilidh Birse and Stuart McGibbon – will now travel to the fantastic CERN research facility in Switzerland to listen and learn from some of the brightest minds of our generation. Well done!
