As well as qualifications, continuous professional learning is an essential component of early learning and childcare quality and is linked to children’s development.

The Scottish Government is delivering an online programme of continuous professional learning that is free to everyone working in early learning and childcare. These online learning modules are available from a variety of providers like the University of the West of Scotland and The Open University and we link to each of them below.

Not all modules are available yet. We’ll add more as they launch throughout 2020.
