High time the North West saw some serious investment to make the A82 safe and fit for purpose.

While I appreciate that most of the A82 was built back in the '30s, it hasn't kept up with the size of modern HGV's and buses and is quite simply not fit for purpose in its present form, particularly on the Upper Loch Lomondside stretch between Tarbet and Inverarnan.

Upgrade is required urgently especially along Loch Lomond to ensure safety of all users and enable traffic to move freely.

Iv driven and traveled on this road for 30+ years, the volume of traffic, the increased need for articulated vehicles has unfortunately reduced this road to death trap... Unfit for purpose. Needs upgrading over most parts.

The A82 is not fit for purpose. Sections have been restricted to 50mph, serious accidents are still taking place on these sections. It is time to get this arterial route up to A road standards.
