Key data from Midlothian

From 1st of April 2020 to 30th of September 2020 we have supported employers and 88 individuals dealing with redundancy.

As of 25th of September 2020 there were 712 Modern Apprentices in training. The Modern Apprenticeship achievement rate in Midlothian is 81%.

From 1st April 2020 to 25th September 2020 we supported 69 Modern Apprenticeship starts.

In 2019-20 there were 23 registered Graduate Apprentices with a home address in the local authority and 13 registered with employers based in the area.

From 1st June 2020 to 30th September 2020 we delivered 1,097 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 777 school pupils through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.

From 1st April 2020 to 30th September 2020, 759 people have registered on myworldofwork.co.uk.

My World of Work

From 1st April 2020 to 25th September 2020 we funded 60 Employability Fund starts.

From 1st April 2020 to 30st September 2020 we delivered 1,121 Career Information, Advice and Guidance engagements for 411 post-school customers through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions.

The 2020 Annual Participation Measure showed that of the 3,708 16-19 year olds in Midlothian 93.4% were in education, employment or training and personal development.
