Summary of use of Transitional Funding for Practice Learning

The Scottish Executive provided additional funding to support practice learning for the years 2003-04 and 2004-05. This was in recognition of the increased demand for practice learning opportunities arising from increasing numbers of social work students, and to assist with preparation for even greater and different demands anticipated with the introduction of the new social work honours degree from 2004.
