Quality assurance of approved education and training provision for social work 2004-2005

The Scottish Social Services Council is responsible for approving and
quality assuring the training programmes for social workers. This currently
includes the Diploma in Social Work, the Practice Teaching Award, the
Mental Health Social Work Award, the Post Qualifying Social Work Awards
as well as the honours and postgraduate degrees in social work launched
in 2004. I am pleased to present the reports of our quality assurance
activity for 2004 to 2005.
