The Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) is part of Skills for Care and
Development (the Sector Skills Council for the 1.87 million people working
in the social care, children and young people’s sector in the UK). It is an
alliance of six organisations, including the SSSC. Each member of the
alliance has published a Sector Skills Assessment and there is a national
report which explores key messages for the UK workforce.
