Do you agree that a licencing system should be put in place to prevent damage to homes and that livelihoods downstream aren’t compromised in order to shoot more grouse?

With one of the most depleted ecosystems in the world UK government and Scottish Parliament, grouse farmers should start taking this issue very seriously and she's not be so backward looking with environmental issues.

Driven grouse shooting should be banned. All game bird shooting should be licensed. Estates where raptors disappear ore found dead should lose any licences. There should be incentives to re-wild moorland.

Grouse shooting destroys raptors as well, should be banned.

Grouse moors need water so controlled burning is not a problem so far as flooding is concerned. The problem lies with forest plantations where run off ditches are cut to allow the land to drain. Grouse moors prevent flooding downstream.

if you believe climate change will make our winters much wetter then every thing should be done to prevent flooding of homes and businesses.

Land Stewardship is a privilege which needs to be exercised rationally. The grouse moors of the UK are wonderful and special habitat but the necessity to develop a more effective and environmental solutions is required in the 21st century.
