Do you agree that a licencing system should be put in place to prevent damage to homes and that livelihoods downstream aren’t compromised in order to shoot more grouse?

How much longer does the general public have to put up with the current situation where almost all living things are eradicated in the attempt to rear grouse at 40 times their natural levels so a very few rich and privileged people can blast as many as possible out of the sky for fun. It is a disgrace and needs to end.

Environmental demands are much more important than the profits amassed by the owners of the moors. Defend our flora and fauna. Raptors require protection. Ban grouse shooting.

Shooting is now well known to detrimental to all wildlife. Uplands should now be returned to forest.

Flood and drought prevention (woodland and wetland sponges), clean air (no muirburn) and access to Nature are all public goods. Moorland can provide all these but not when it's trashed for driven grouse shooting to provide fun for a tiny number of rich people. DGS should be banned along with all these damaging practices and land managers paid instead to provide these public goods and ecosystem services to benefit all in Scotland.

Must end, save our wildlife and environment.

The proposed measures would also reduce Scotland's carbon footprint, reduce erosion, and reduce water pollution and improve the biodiversity of both the affected lands and the watercourses that are fed by them.

The rich are to blame, its only those who are destroying our moorlands.

Wherever your home is, grouse moor management impacts the quality and protection of your nation environment. It is a practice in denial of knowledge

I object on the grounds of cruelty to wildlife. Straw burning was banned years ago.Burning Heather creates the same pollutants which damage the environment
